5 Health signs that you are a man
Men are very strange creatures. I know, I am a man.
Men may be catching up in lifespan but they still need to pay more attention to their bodies and mind.
You often don’t take time to care for your health even if you have worrying symptoms.
Your health promotion events often focus on prostate and testicular cancer, but not on skin care.
You pay less attention to high blood pressure, coronary heart disease and road traffic, which cause road accidents.
You generally smoke more, drink more, want sex more and are more likely to be involved in risk taking and, as a consequence, accidents.
You don’t make good use of health services and are less likely to discuss your health, or other sensitive issues with friends.
If after reading facetious things above you can say “Yes, I do”, there is a big probability that you are a man (though prostate cancer scares Marisa) and you don’t know a lot about your health.
The good news is that many of the major health risks that men face can be prevented and treated if they are diagnosed early. So it is important to be in tune with your body so that you can raise any concerns with a doctor.
You deserve to pay more attention to your health! And you deserve to take better care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. You can test your knowledge about Men’s Health. Leave comment below about your result!
