According to a survey released Thursday by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), the main part of asthma patients (59 percent) try to avoid taking asthma medications whenever possible, which means that they are not properly controlling the disease.
The regular using of a rescue medication is a sign that asthma is not controlled, and the patient may be ailing from the disease unnecessarily.
