According to new figures published by Cancer Research UK today, oesophageal cancer - cancer of the food pipe - rates in men have risen by 50 percent over the last 25 years.
The latest figures reveal the most dramatic rise was among men in their 50s, as rates increased by 67 per cent over the same period.
