According to a new study at the University of Rochester School of Nursing, children who do not get adequate sleep are likely to sustain more injuries.
The findings revealed a direct negative relationship between children’s sleep and injuries and suggest that the average number of injuries during the preschool years was two times higher for children who don’t get enough sleep each day as described by their mothers and those getting an adequate of sleep sustained fewer injuries.
