Many boys have difficulty learning to talk

A survey has found that almost one in six children have difficulty learning to talk, with boys finding the skill particularly hard to master. Thus five per cent of boys and two per cent of girls have significant problems with talking

A YouGov poll of over 1,000 parents with children aged one to seven found that 13 per cent of girls and 22 per cent of boys have problems with talking and understanding speech.
