Tooth Infection Associated With Hair Loss

Researchers at the University of Granada, Spain, suggest going to the dentist in order to receive a careful examination of oral health when people notice localized hair loss.

They concluded there is a close relationship between infection outbreaks on teeth and the presence of alopecia areata or localized alopecia, a type of hair loss which has an unknown origin.
