A new research by the University of California -Los Angeles has revealed that high levels of triglycerides and the lipoprotein cholesterol increase the risk of atherosclerotic stroke, a type of ischemic stroke caused by a blockage of blood flow to the brain.
According to the researchers people with high triglycerides (fatty acids), and non-high density lipoprotein cholesterol have an increased risk of a certain type of stroke.
