Boys more likely than girls to have sweet tooth

Boys have a sweeter tooth than girls, a new food study has found.

In order to recognise how tasty food is, boys on an average need 10 per cent more sourness and 20 per cent more sweetness.

However, boys prefer wild and extreme tastes compared to the muted flavours favoured by girls, the figures revealed.
