Experts say that protein levels might help decide who needs surgery and who doesn’t.
Scientists claim they have identified an immune molecule, called B7-H3, able to kill or paralyze immune cells that are attacking cancer cells. They concluded that the most aggressive tumor cells have the highest levels of this protein.
Scientific tean find that B7-H3 acts as a “crystal ball” to tell whether or not the tumor can come back after surgery.
