A research team at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ), investigated the risk profile of men who have a PSA level at or below what is considered ‘normal.’. The findings show that most men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer appear to under undergo aggressive therapy, even if they have a low prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level and low-risk disease.
CINJ is a Center of Excellence of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and the new research is published in the latest edition of Archives of Internal Medicine
