Two studies investigated a new drug, known for now only as PSD502, and have found it highly effective in treating primary premature ejaculation (PE). Studies involved 539 men from Europe, the USA and Canada - who had to use stopwatches to time their performances.
The remedy is sprayed on the penis five minutes before sexual intercourse, with the ingredients lidocaine and prilocaine preventing over-sensitivity without causing numbness. On average the men in the three-month study, who all suffered from the quick-trigger syndrome, lasted much longer.
