Products to enhance men’s sexual performance recalled in New Zealand

Kiwi health officials have ordered the recall of six products sold to enhance men’s sexual performance as they contain undeclared medicines.

The warning followed the discovery by Health Ministry agency Medsafe that the products contained one or more undeclared prescription medicines, such as sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra), hydroxyhomosildenafil, thiosildenafil, and/or tadalafil (the active ingredient of Cialis).

Both taladalafil and sildenafil are known to interfere with some heart medications, and Medsafe said their use could be harmful and even fatal for some
