Question: One of my testicles disappeared at about the age of 5, I'm now 21 and it has come back and it feels as though there is something attached to it like veins that pull in my stomach, I have not had pain or discomfort, just would like a possible explanation please. by Nathan January 30, 2008

Answer: Testicular retraction is common in boys 5-6 years old and is due to a hyperactive cremaster muscle reflex. This is basically variation of normal. This phenomena usually disappears by puberty, but a medical monitoring is good. As it's a very sensible male issue, our advice is to see a doctor to avoid any undesirable effect.

Question: I'm 1 month post abdominal & pubic liposuction. Genitals were swollen and bruised for 1 week following procedure. Now ejaculate is of usual volume, but watery and almost clear; attachment/base area of testicles is still a bit tender Should I be concerned? by Mark January 22, 2008

Answer: This effects may be caused by emotional surgery stress or your regimen. You should recover within 1-2 weeks. If they persist contact your doctor.

Answer: Some medication can cause infertility. In some circumstances, diabetes and hypertension can cause infertility by themselves. As you can see, the problem is too complicate to get the right answer here. Our best advice is to visit the doctor who prescribed the medication and to talk about your concerns.

Answer: It's probably caused by the strong vascularisation during erection.

Answer: HPV is estimated to be one of the most common sexually transmitted infections around the world. Studies show that about 75% of men and women sexually active will acquire an anogenital HPV infection at some point in their lives. It is possible to become infected having unprotected sex or if man comes into contact with an infected area in the anogenital region. Most HPV infections occur without any symptoms and go away without treatment over the course of a few years. Most people who are infected never know it.

Answer: This red patch could be a sign of to close fitted underwear, but better forget any embarrassment and go to a doctor to have an appropriate opinion and advice.

Answer: The best way to reduce the risk of contracting an STD is minimizing number of sexual partners. Also, do some things that can lower your chances to practice safe sex such as: don't mix sex with alcohol or illegal drugs, avoid partners who use IV drugs, have had many other sexual partners or have sores on the penis/vulva, genital warts or unusual discharge.
